Ashleigh aims to provide a confidential, warm and empathetic space where clients can express themselves fully and openly without worry about judgement. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is the basis for a positive experience in counselling.
Sessions are an open and supportive environment, where clients can bring whatever they feel they want to discuss and work on. Ashleigh is a strong believer that each individual is unique, and we are the experts in ourselves and know what we need to facilitate change.
She works Integratively, with a relational framework, that incorporates different therapeutic approaches when needed, with the main approaches used being person-centered and psychodynamic. This means that sessions can be adapted to each client and what they individually need.
She is a registered member of the BACP and has completed her studies in Integrative Counselling. She also holds a Bachelors in Psychology (BSc). She has experience working both online and face-to-face, and has experience working in education, addiction and with a range of mental health issues.
